Established in December of 2012,  ‘Scarf it Up!’ Is our charitable initiative.  Our members make hats, blankets, scarves, mittens, shawls, socks and baby clothes.  We donate these items to different charitable organizations and need-based groups throughout Cape May County - and beyond.  You may drop off items for donation any day during store hours.  Some of our on-going donations include:

Soap Sacks:  Stacy Wiener, Founder of S.A.CK.  (Supporting A Community with Kindness), discovered through volunteering at food pantries, that there was a lack of essential toiletries available. One key reason is that people are not able to use government subsidies, such as food stamps (i.e. SNAP – Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), to purchase them.  When it comes to deciding on whether to eat vs. buy soap and shampoo, the choice becomes simple.  So, in September of 2017, S.A.C.K. was started as a grassroots effort to help address this need while connecting people from all over the world, interested in crocheting/knitting/sewing soap sacks and then donating them (with a bar of soap in each one) to homeless shelters, food pantries, relief efforts, veteran clinics and social service agencies.  Free patterns are available at the store.  Completed soap sacks can be dropped off at the store any time.

The Mitten Tree:  Enchanted Fiber is proud to partner with the Fedoroff Community Christmas Celebration to assist local children in need.  Beginning November 1st, we will be displaying a mitten tree in the shop!  When you hang your donation of knitted or crocheted mittens and hats on our tree, you will be helping to keep a child warm this winter.  Donations can be dropped off at the store all year long.
