Mt. Vernon Collection, 100% Fine Merino Wool, 2 Ply Fingering Weight, Made in the USA.  This yarn is hand dyed and each skein is unique - expect slight unevenness and variations in dyeing.  A percentage of the natural lanolin has been deliberately retained in this yarn.  This helps to protect the wool and acts as somewhat of a water repellent for the garment.  Hand wash in cold water or machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle.  Allow to dry naturally on a flat surface.  Do not dry clean.  Approximately 360 yards per 3.5 ounce skein.
